Silence in a Loud World

Silence in a loud world,
A rare commodity in our hectic lives.
Does such a thing exist,
Or have we deluded ourselves into believing,
Believing in a loud world.
Shouting over the quiet world.
Why are we shouting?
When the silence comes to be
We are still loud;
Trying to overcome the now nonexistent cacophony,
Of a loud world.
