Round And Round

 

Round and round,
The great wheel turns,
Rolling over us all,
Life in endless motion.
Passing us by,
Time rolls on,
Ebbs and flows,
Tides turn, seasons change.
We stand here,
With our myriad pains,
Mountainous, ominous and dark,
A smattering of dark stars.
We are just drops,
In the mighty sea,
Crashing into rocky shores,
Of humanity and the lives we lead.
