Boris Vallejo was born on January 8, 1941 in Lima, Peru, but later emigrated to the United States in 1964, currently living in Allentown, Pennsylvania with his wife Julie Bell.

Like his wife Julie, Boris is known primarily as a painter specializing in the Erotic, Fantasy, Science Fiction and Superhero art, having worked for most of the major publishing groups creating album, book and video covers as well as creating posters for many major motion pictures including Barbarella, Knightriders, National Lampoon's European Vacation and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
